Tedo Rekhviashvili has a deep commitment to community engagement, using art to inspire and connect people. Before pursuing his Master’s degree in New York, he led the Color to Children project in Akhaltsikhe region of Georgia, where he and his art group created sophisticated murals on school walls in rural villages. Beyond transforming the spaces, Tedo secured sponsorships to provide schools with essential materials, making a lasting impact on these communities.

In another initiative, Tedo organized film screenings in villages, using cinema and art as tools to bridge cultural divides and foster connections across different parts of the country.

More recently, in 2024, Tedo led a linocut workshop at the Life Chance Center alongside Irakli Toklikishvili. Together with the center’s children, they created over 70 artworks, which were later sold to raise funds in support of the center. Through his community projects, Tedo continues to demonstrate the transformative power of art in education, connection, and social impact.
